Brian Underwood
Our AMS brings over 30 years of ministry experience to the SWBA. His fields of expertise range from pastoral ministry, church planting, discipleship, being a pastor to pastors, national & international missions, plus nearly 10 years of leading a Christian nonprofit (TIP INTERNATIONAL). He is married to his best friend, Sherri. They have been married for 35+ years. They have two adult sons: Kyle & Dustin. They are grandparents to Hannah, Trevor & Maezlei.
Brian has graduate degrees from Liberty University & Covington Theological Seminary. He enjoys football, baseball, basketball and golf. He has been known to chase the little white ball from time to time. He is a former basketball & baseball official.

A pastor at heart. A man called by God to serve the Him through the local church after a career in management with Wal-Mart and Hobby Lobby. He is championing the mission of God to see the gospel reach the ends of the earth.
He is the perfect addition to the staff at the SWBA. He is knowledgeable in several disciplines including discipleship, prayer and pastoral care. He is passionate about church planting … international church planting.
His educational background spans with degrees from the following:
—- Associate of Business - Trinity Valley in Athens, TX
—- Bachelor of Biblical Studies - Pastoral Studies from Ames Christian University
—- Post Graduate degree in Revitalization from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary
He is married to his bride, Maria. They have two adult children, Jospeh and Emily. They are blessed with two grandchildren, Geneive and D. missionary, approachable, and driven by results, our sales manager is all about building strong relationships. They help connect people to the right solutions—with clarity and care.
